FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about domain registration

How to register a domain?

Enter your desired domain name in the search box, and the system will automatically check availability. If the domain is available, click the "Register Now" button, log in or register for a SixCVM account, and you can complete the registration.

What can I do after registering a domain?

After registering a domain, you can set up DNS resolution to point the domain to your website or server, enable WHOIS privacy protection to hide personal information, set domain lock to prevent unauthorized transfers, and enable automatic renewal to ensure the domain never expires.

Can domains be transferred from other registrars?

Yes. Obtain the domain transfer authorization code (EPP Code) from the original registrar, then submit a transfer request in the SixCVM customer panel. The domain resolution service will not be interrupted during the transfer process, and the domain will be automatically renewed for one year upon successful transfer.

What happens when a domain expires?

After a domain expires, it enters a renewal grace period (usually 30 days), during which it can be renewed normally. After the grace period, it enters a redemption period (approximately 30 days), requiring an additional fee for redemption. After the redemption period, the domain will be released and can be re-registered by others. We recommend enabling automatic renewal to avoid losing your domain.

What payment methods are supported?

SixCVM supports Alipay, WeChat Pay, USDT and other payment methods, which you can flexibly choose when registering and renewing domains. Enterprise users also support corporate transfers.
